MEDITATIONS

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Psalm 1:1-3

About Meditations

Recordings

Meditation recordings typically contain the following two elements:

1. VARIOUS TRANSLATIONS. The first part is the verse/passage being read in different versions to help us meditate on the same verse but also to get different key words that may help deepen our understanding of the text.

2. REPEATED HIGHLIGHTS.  The second part is where we highlight various key lines from different translations of the verse to help us to hear and think over the verse.

Tips for how to use Meditations

Meditations is designed to help us focus on God's Word in a unique and engaging way to know and memorize God's Word.

Listen on Repeat

The best way to accomplish is to listen to a particular recording on repeat.  The repetition is what helps us to meditate and go deeper in the Scripture as well to let it fill our hearts and minds.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
